Rating information is made available to the public through the TSE Correspondents' Club and is also announced in its entirety in the Nihon Keizai Shimbun and the Nikkei Kin'yu Shimbun and the Yomiuri Shimbun. In addition, to ensure that news about R&I's ratings reaches a wider public, information is also publicized through a large variety of other channels.      The R&I rating information service is provided immediately through the on-line terminals of QUICK (Access Code:QQ), Reuters (AAA), and Bloomberg (JRIE) every day, and you can also access more detailed analysis through these terminals. Rating information and the rating reports published in the "Nikkei Bonds & Financial Weekly" are provided through the website of the Nikkei's Telecom21. This service is also available in English.      Rating information is also provided through the web sites of The Financial Times and the Maeil Business Newspaper of Korea, as well as the IFR and other organizations, and R&I rating information is available through these media.

R&I Credit Express      "R&I Credit Express" supplies data about the rating rationales for the companies rated as well as historical rating data and the rating outlook. Also available are past news releases and the corporate and sector reports published in "R&I Rating Information."      R&I has consistently provided data to investors and issuers through a variety of information services, but, mindful of the need to provide the most usable and up-to-date data, R&I has now developed "R&I Credit Express" as a new information product to meet the market's requirements. Annual Subscription: 480,000 yen (excluding tax, Japanese only.)

R&I Quarterly on Bonds & Ratings      A list of the bonds issued by Japanese companies in Japan and overseas, as well as Japanese issues by non-resident issuers, complete with detailed data including the type of bond, issue date, amount, coupon, etc. R&I ratings are also listed. An indispensable guide to the bond market. Quarterly; Annual Subscription: 12,000 yen (excluding tax, Japanese only.)

R&I Rating Information      An introduction to the basic approach behind R&I's rating assessments and opinions, presented to investors and market experts in an easily understandable format. R&I analysts' detailed analysis of key industrial sectors and companies. An invaluable guide to investment information. Monthly; Annual Subscription: 36,000 yen (excluding tax, Japanese only.)

"R&I Series"      R&I is publishing a series of books introducing its activities. April 2001 will see the publication of the latest volume. "Rating Q&A", which follows earlier titles "Life Insurance", "Local Government Bonds", "Asset-Backed Securities", and "Rating Asia". The books are available at bookstores throughout Japan. R&I Facsimile Service      Information about R&I's ratings is announced to the general public through the TSE Correspondents' Club. In addition, for the sake of investors who wish to have even more rapid access to this data, R&I provides a facsimile service transmitted immediately on announcement of the details of the rating action, which includes the rating assessment, the details of the bonds rated, and a summary of the evaluation. Annual Subscription: 120,000 yen (excluding tax, either Japanese or English.) 180,000 yen (excluding tax, Japanese and English.)

Bond Rating Data Base      A data base of R&I's accumulated bond ratings is available by electronic mail. Initial Subscription: 1,000,000 yen; Annual Maintenance Fee: 2,040,000 yen (excluding tax, Japanese or English.)

Country Risk Survey      A publication carrying the results of a multi-faceted analysis and evaluation of investment risk in 100 countries around the world. Annual Fee (2 issues): 40,000 yen (excluding tax, Japanese only.)
