Mr. Yasuhiro Harada nominated to be R&I's New President

On February 23, 2005, The Board of Directors
of Rating and Investment Information, Inc. (R&I) nominated the current Executive
Vice President Mr. Yasuhiro Harada to assume the position of President and Representative
Director, and the current President and Representative Director Mr. Yoshiki Ikeda
to assume the position of Chairman and Representative Director. The post of President
of Financial Research Institute (FTRI), the subsidiary company of R&I, by
which Mr. Harada served concurrently will be assumed by the current Executive
Managing Director Yoshihiro Hayakawa. The above personnel will be appointed formally
after the shareholder's meeting on March 18, 2005.
